Covered Denture Services
- Complete Standard Dentures: Full upper and lower plates for patients missing all teeth in an arch.
- Removable Digital partial dentures: Standard cast metal or acrylic partials to replace specific missing teeth.
- Emergency Repairs: Fixing cracked bases or reattaching lost artificial teeth.
- Relining & Rebasing: Adjusting the fit of your current dentures to accommodate natural bone loss.
- Exams & Checkups: Regular clinical examinations and periodic checkups are covered to maintain your oral health.
- Tooth Additions & Adjustments: We can add teeth to existing appliances or provide necessary adjustments for comfort.
Important Pre-Authorizations
While the CDCP covers many standard denture services, it's important to know that major prosthodontic work (like new complete or Digital partial dentures) often requires pre-authorization starting in late 2024.
Don't worry—our administration team handles all the paperwork. We will examine your mouth, submit the exact treatment plan to Sun Life, and confirm your coverage amounts before any work begins, so you never have unexpected out-of-pocket costs.
Our CDCP Fee Policy & Pricing Philosophy
Important Transparency Note: On no procedure does the CDCP fee guide fall in line with our typical denture fee guide.
We are not on a mission to treat patients within the constraints of the CDCP fee guide. Rather, our mission is to craft the best possible dentures using the latest digital technology, advanced materials, and clinical techniques.
With the exception of initial consultations, there will likely be some sort of an upcharge on each and every case to bridge the gap between CDCP coverage payments and our standard charges.
We do this not out of greed, but to provide our staff with the best possible working environment, to respect our own skill, education, and profession, and to ensure we can build the highest-quality dentures for our patients.
Exceptions: We will make exceptions in certain cases for individuals in situations of disability, at our clinic's sole discretion.
